How quickly do you pick up or drop off?

Laundry can typically be scheduled for same-day if you pick it up and drop it off.  If we pick it up and drop it off expect a 2-3 day turnaround time. Dry cleaning requires 3 business days or more, depending on special needs.  If you need a rush order, please email us at

How far do you pick up orders?

We pick up and deliver in Manchester, Bedford, Concord and Portsmouth. Live out of the area, but work in ones of these cities? We pick up at homes, apartments, and business in the following  zip codes. If you’re out of our pickup range, you can also drop off and pick up at our Elm Street location.

My location is out of your pickup range, but I would like to use your service. Are there any options for me?

Do you clean leather, fur, or carpet?

Yes. We recommend bringing such items to our store location for an inspection, as some items may not be safe to clean and may take extra time.

I have personal inquiries or special requests for my laundry. What should I do?

We take all personal laundry requests. If your inquiries are complex, simply call a store location to speak to one of our specialists.

What kind of detergent do you use?

All of our orders are done with a name-brand detergent, which contains NO perfumes or dyes. Our dryer sheets are also free of perfumes. Both of these products claim to be sensitive to skin, and these are the products we have tested with our own families’ laundry. When requested, we can also use an oxi-bleach (non-chlorinated, so it won’t fade colors). If you prefer your clothing to be scented, please let us know.

Will my clothes be mixed in with other people's clothes?

Absolutely not! We wash, dry and fold each clients’ clothing separately. If you receive an item in your clean clothes that is not yours, please contact us immediately.


How do I know that I am getting all of my clothes back?

We wash, dry and fold your clothing by itself and never with another order. Your order is weighed and recorded with identifying information so that our attendants can easily find your laundry. If, by chance, items are missing, please contact customer service immediately so that we can begin to search. You can email clean@washstreet.com with any questions or concerns.

What if I have special instructions or preferences ?

If you prefer your colors and whites separately washed, please let us know upon drop off or indicate this  in the special notes section when you schedule your pickup. If you prefer to have items air-dried, please put them into a separate bag and indicate that the bag is ‘wash and air-dry’ in the special notes or upon drop off. If you have items requiring special care (delicates or hand wash) or would prefer to have some items hung, please separate these items and indicate your instructions . upon drop off or in the special notes.

How Long Does it Take to Get My Clothes Back?

We offer a two-day turnaround on wash and fold, but are usually able to honor rush or same-day service requests as well.

If I use a special detergent - can I bring it in to you and have you wash with that?

Of course; some of our clients prefer a certain kind of detergent. Just bring your preferred detergent and let our attendant know (or add to the NOTES section and leave with your laundry for pick up).

Can I drop off bedding as well, or just clothing?

Sheets, towels and pillowcases are charged at our regular, per pound Wash & Fold rates. Comforters are priced differently. Non-down comforters are charged at $15 for twin, $20 for full, $25 for queen size, and $30 for king comforters.

How do I know when my clothes are done?

We will either text message or e-mail you a confirmation that order is ready.
